The 2008 CD features music from the 2008 Edinburgh Military Tattoo recorded live on the castle esplanade. Featuring music from the full 2008 show including the Massed Pipes and Drums, the Golden Eagles Marching Band, and the Bands of Her Majesty's Royal Marines. Culminating in the Finale performance of the celebrated theme of 'Gael' from the Hollywood movie 'Last of the Mohicans'.
