Coronation Street was first broadcast on Dec 9th 1960 and follows the ordinary lives of the residents of a terraced street in the north of England. Through a selection of episodes taken from 1960-1961 you can relive the romance, tragedy and above all, humour bestowed on those much loved characters that walked the cobblestones all those years ago.
 
These eight classic episodes feature appearances by some of the street’s most well-known characters, including Len Fairclough, Elsie Tanner, Ena Sharples and Ken Barlow. Join them along with many others as they face a whirlwind of ups and downs throughout the years – May Hardman complains of head pains and tries to summon help, Ken declares his love for Marian, Elsie Tanner’s son Dennis is suspected of committing a crime, and Ena is convinced she is going to die.
