Daniel O'Donnell is back and is better than ever in his new concert special, Daniel O'Donnell and Friends. The concert was taped before an exuberant audience at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast where Daniel sings an eclectic mix of easy listening, country, Irish, and rock'n'roll songs. Daniel pulls out all the stops in this sing-along fest as audience members join him in tunes like, "Wooden Heart," "Sing Me An Old Irish Song" and "Blackboard Of My Heart." Appearing on stage with Daniel is his long-time performance partner, Mary Duff along with special guest Gail Davies singing her famous tune, "Someone Is Looking For Someone Like You." Gail is considered one of the most important and influential female singer/songwriters in country music. Also returning to the concert stage and public television are The Celtic Tenors who provide a rousing and whimsical rendition of "Phil the Flouter's Ball.'
