The 05/06 season was the last to be played at Arsenal’s Highbury home of 93 years and the landmark season witnessed Arsène Wenger’s new breed of stars capture the imagination of Gunners fans with their exhilarating and fast flowing football. Highbury witnessed a grandstand finish to the Premier League season as results on the final day of the season ensured Arsenal would once again have the chance to take on Europe’s finest in the Champions League.
